At Sapphire Career Strategies, we know that employers don't just hire to fill office space, they hire to fill a specific need.

A recruiter's job is to help market employers to prospective candidates, not simply to inundate you with resumes in the hopes that something will
"stick." We take the time to educate candidates about you: your history, your substantive practices, your culture and your people. When you receive a resume from us, that candidate is someone who knows about you and what you do.

When it comes to law firms, the statement we often hear from candidates is that all firms seem the same. We believe that law firms are as unique as the people who populate them. Our goal is to learn as much as we can about you and what you have to offer, so that we can do the best possible job marketing you.

Whether you're a recruiter or hiring partner with a law firm or counsel with an in-house legal department, when you're looking for a new attorney, we want to help you find the right person - someone with the skills, the energy and the intellectual horsepower to do the work. That said, we also want to help you find someone who will "fit" well with your culture and community.

Our primary goal is to find that fit for you because the right fit creates solid placements and lasting relationships.  Our process is simple but thorough:

    1) Before we submit resume to you, we will learn about
your hiring needs and make sure a prospective
           candidate meets that need.
    2) If appropriate, we will meet with you in your office to
learn more about your firm and the people in the department
           where your need lies.
    3) We will approach the person responsible for recruiting
to pre-screen a candidate before submitting him or her.
    4) We will meet with any candidate prior to submission.
    5) Once we have determined that a candidate is appropriate
for your stated need, and only when we have authorization
from the candidate, we will present the candidate's resume
to you along with a cover letter and any other appropriate
paperwork (i.e., law school transcript, deal sheet, business plan, etc.).
    6) We will follow up on submissions and handle the logistics
           regarding scheduling interviews.
    7) We will provide you with meaningful feedback throughout the
           interview process.
    8) As things progress, we will assist in providing the candidate's
references and conflict information as well as any other information
you require to complete the process.

Our business is entirely about relationships. Because our relationships are so important to us, we operate with the highest ethical standards and the utmost confidentiality and discretion before, during and after the recruiting process.

We look forward to working with you and will be happy to provide references at your request.
